一杯牛奶
聖誕節的前夕，Howard Kelly，正挨家挨戶販賣貨品，他是無依靠的不幸男孩。但那天，他根本沒賣出任何東西。只剩下微薄的一角錢，他發現他沒有足夠錢買食品，並且他當時非常飢餓。他決定去隔壁鄰舍要一頓飯。想不到，當一位可愛的年輕的女孩打開門時，他失去勇氣。Howard Kelly 要求的不是一頓飯，他只要求給一杯水。

幾年之後，年輕的女孩得了很嚴重的病。當地醫生都困惑不知如何醫治她。 最後把她轉診到大城市，在那裡他們聘請到罕見疾病專家來治療她。
Howard Kelly被找來協商。當他聽到她是來自與他相同的鎮名時，一種奇怪的誘因吸引他；本能地，他站起來，走到她的房間去看看。
Howard穿著醫生的長袍，一進入到她的房間，立刻Howard就認出她就是當年帶給他溫暖的女孩；他決定盡力救她的生命。
從那天起，Howard Kelly 醫師對她的情況特別的注意。經過長時間的奮鬥，Howard Kelly 贏得戰鬥，Howard Kelly 終於治愈她。
Howard Kelly 請求辦公室轉給他這女士的帳單。他拿著帳單，然後在邊緣上寫些字，賬單再轉到女士房間。
女士很怕打開它，因為她確信恐怕得花她下半生的時間才能償還的一筆花費。最後她打開來看，發現在賬單的邊上寫著：
"一杯牛奶，已足以支付妳這些醫藥費了 " ( 簽名）Howard Kelly。
她感恩的祈禱，快樂的眼淚 淹沒她的眼睛︰ "為神的愛和恩惠 感謝上帝。上帝愛的傳播，常透過人的心和手。而她出院當日，正巧也是聖誕節的前夕。
西方諺語：投擲在水上的麵包，有一天一定會流向你。你今天做的好行為，可能對你，或者你期待的某人有益。縱然將來未必看見那些善行回饋你，但你已經使世界變得更好了！ 這就是生活的意義 是聖誕節的真諦！

How have you been? Merry Christmas and a Happy Abundant New Year to you.
Time flies. When the greeting season comes, I get alert somehow. One year slips away silently.
Yes, let our life shine to those who are in the dark or in trouble. Bring them true light, and let the function of our life warm them. Especially, be faithful to those who are around you.
Let those who are against you be harmony between you. Life is short, I teach philosophy of life in school. I always emphasize one point: Be kind to them who were betraying you before. For he or she was your trainer to train your wisdom to overcome your adversity and think about what is the value of your deep life. If you do so, you'll get some strength from our Heavenly Father. And you may announce that you are triumphant through God.
Christmas songs are heard everywhere. Of course, they cheer us a lot.The significant of it is a new hope for man which comes upon us. Only we find Him, the leading role, who was born in a manger.Building a new relationsship with Him, Let His light become your light of your conscience.Live a bright life within His love. I'm sure it will be a real Christmas of ours.
